Barn cats, Broccoli Cheddar, and Gunner's new home

It was a huge weekend of sleepness nights. I worried about moving Gunner to his new home. Will he like it? Will his ground manners improve? Will he play nice? oh and yes, he's my horse not my child.
Well, he loaded up wonderfully, unloaded great, grazed like horse, and met his new soon to be pasture mates.  All is well so far. He does seem confused which has Derek a little stressed, but I think that is normal.
Here we are all going to get a nice lesson in horsemanship (including Gunner).

now on to barn cats! Derek loves animals - all animals. We are a non cat family due to allergies, but here there are a bunch of barn cats. Some look like they should be in Harry Potter, others not so much.

He begrudgingly left all the kitties there to keep Gunner company and home we went to make soup.  I made my first batch of Broccoli Cheddar from this blog
